Tbh, not so authentic from a Taiwanese’s perspective (maybe that’s why most of the customers there are white people? I mean it’s in highland park so😆) But the food is clean and in a good portion. Not a huge fan of the sesame mochi, but the peanut ones are great! I recommend to walk around after the meal, great location to get a coffee. And Last time I got a Dan Dan noodle and the noodle was all stuck with the middle part uncooked. Maybe it will be better for the chef to double check next time.

Having been on my list for awhile and finally trying it! To my surprise it's full house as early as 530pm but line moved quick and it's easy to get seated. Even when we're still in line, the staff already let us know where to sit. I really appreciated the warm gesture and attentiveness of all the servers for sure!! It's a huge space that gave more industrial vibe to me than traditional Taiwanese theme, but it's totally a very convenient dining spot for both small and big group. We tried some from the menu and were pleased by all of them. They might look small but very filling actually since all the bowls were filled to top. The Dan Dan noodles have flavorful peanut sauce with it perfect noodles texture. Would recommend add extra sides for proteins, which we opted for pork belly and minced pork. The belly was extremely tender with thick juicy slices. The minced pork was equally palatable. They're generous in portion for being sides, we even packed some home. We obviously didn't skip their Hakka Mochi for dessert, which were still warm chewy yet moist when served and covered in overflowing black sesame and peanut powder. I get why this place is so popular! The food is freaking delicious. The orders are big enough for you to share, so we shared the Dan Dan noodles, thousand layer pancake with cheese and the vegan mapo tofu. Holy smokes was it scrumptious! The only negative is that parking can kind of be a bugger. This place is definitely worth checking out.

the tofu maple/miso rice stew thing is absolutely incredible.. i haven’t had stew this delicious in years! the tofu is so filling of flavor, and it’s very filling and great portions for the price. and it’s so yummy as someone who struggles to find gluten free dishes when out and about. definitely will come here again for this dish.

Just wanted to give a huge shoutout to their amazing staff for the incredible dining experience my party and I had yesterday! 🙌🏼 The food was absolutely delicious, from the Clamshell Bun, Thousand Layer Pancake, Dan Dan Noodles, Mince Pork On Rice, Pickled Cabbage and we had their Purple Horchata and Mexican Coke to drink, everything was just perfect. And the prices were surprisingly affordable! 😋 Despite the small portions, we were pleasantly surprised by how filling the dishes were, leaving us with leftovers to take home. The cashier was super friendly and the service was efficient, even with a busy crowd. 👏🏼 Not to mention, the restaurant was spotlessly clean, including the restroom which is always a nice touch. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed and will definitely be returning for another meal soon.
